Have questions?
What age is the brush suitable for?
This brush is suitable from birth right through to toddlerhood.
Oral care should begin as soon as your baby starts milk feeds — and especially once purees or solid foods are introduced (around 4–6 months).
Even before teeth appear, sugars and food particles sit on your baby’s gums, creating the perfect environment for early tooth decay and irritation. That’s why dental professionals recommend gently cleaning your baby’s gums from infancy — long before a traditional toothbrush is needed.
How often should I be brushing my babies gums?
You should gently clean your baby’s gums at least twice a day — once in the morning and once before bed.
If your baby has started milk feeds, formula or purees, sugars and food particles can sit on the gums throughout the day. Cleaning regularly helps remove buildup, soothe teething discomfort and create healthy habits long before teeth fully erupt.
The bedtime clean is especially important, as bacteria multiply overnight while your baby sleeps.
Starting early makes brushing feel normal — not a battle — as they grow.
Can my baby use this independently?
Yes! The brush is designed for little hands and is a wonderful way to introduce early independence and self-care skills.
However, adult supervision is always required. While the brush is made from durable, food-grade silicone, it is still a small product and may pose a choking hazard if used incorrectly. Never leave your child unattended during use.
For the most effective clean, we recommend that parents guide or operate the brush to ensure gums are properly cleaned while still allowing your baby to explore and learn.
How should I sterilise and wash this brush?
Before first use, we recommend sterilising the brush in boiling water for 3–5 minutes.
For daily cleaning, simply wash with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before the next use. The durable, food-grade silicone material is easy to clean and designed for everyday use.
For added hygiene, the brush can also be sterilised periodically using boiling water or a standard baby bottle steriliser.
Always inspect the brush before each use and discontinue use if any damage is noticed.
Can my baby take this out for the day to use as a teether?
Absolutely! The soft, food-grade silicone design makes it perfect for soothing sore gums throughout the day, just like a traditional teether.
However, as with all teethers, adult supervision is essential. Always monitor your child while they are using the product to reduce any potential choking or safety hazards, and never leave them unattended.
